Before starting on your road trip, it’s a good idea to plan the trip in advance – for everyone’s benefit. It’s very possible that without the proper planning, you could end up at some beach or area  that doesn’t even allow dogs, or you may even find that there are no pet-friendly hotel rooms available (a hotel or motel that permit dogs to stay there).

But before you let your your dog jump in the car and take off with you, it’s a great idea to get prepared for the car trip.  Planning in advance and packing the right supplies will make for a much better trip.

Believe me, things will go much better if you plan your car trip with your dog in advance.  Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your travels with Fido!
